Christopher Columbus first discovered the pineapple in Guadeloupe in 1493. Beach Glass and Sea Glass

Beach glass and sea glass are basically the same thing.  We are instantly drawn to these transluscent stones with their soothing properties in beautiful natural colors of the sea – aquas, turquoise and seafoam greens.  Today, we reproduce stones artificially for adorning many of our homes and businesses.

Ripple Glass 

This type of glass is more of a created, patterned texture, used in industry glass and plastic, as well as products for the home, housewares, and decor.

Waterglass

Early glassworker Bormioli Rocco established his glassworks in Parma in 1825 and was an early master of the waterglass wave technique.  The wavy texture within the glass helps to create an intriguing focal point for any environment.

Waterglass style is found today in, for example, the Montecito Collection of outdoor lights.  In the yard, these glass delights are quickly noticed by passers-by.
